⚠️ QLD riders — new rule from 31 August 2026: riders of e-scooters and e-mobility devices on Queensland public roads and paths must be 16 or older AND hold at least a learner licence (QLD, interstate or overseas). Children aged 12–17 may ride under adult supervision under an exemption. Parents/guardians can be fined if under-16s ride illegally. Off-road mode is for private property use only. See the QLD Government rules.
