What does the satisfaction guarantee entail for a Bicycle or Scooter?
You have 30 days from the delivery date of your bicycle or scooter to request a full refund. Feel free to try it out for up to 10 days, and if it doesn't excite you, you're welcome to return it as per our refund policy. Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days. Where can I test the products?
NGMobility provides the option to test products in-store. Simply complete a form at our location and provide your ID or Driver's license.
What is the duration of the warranty for a bicycle or Scooter?
In a general sense, the warranty spans 2 years for the frame of our bicycles or Scooters. Additionally, components such as batteries, tyres, and brakes are protected for a 6-month duration.
Are electric scooters legal in Australia?
It is legal to ride an electric scooter in Australia, however, the nuances vary from state to state. From age limits to personal mobile device use, each territory and state has their own laws when it comes to using e-Scooters in public. In New South Wales, the use of private e-Scooters in public roads and road-related areas including footpaths and bike lanes is not legal. You must wear a helmet, use lights after dark, and be at least 16 years old to ride an electronic scooter. Visit Transport for NSW for exact locations and providers. In Queensland and Brisbane, electric scooters are classed as personal mobility devices, and you are able to use them as long as you follow all standard motorist road rules as well as a few scooter-specific specifications. Electric scooters are allowed on footpaths and shared paths as long as it is not prohibited, with a speed limit of 50 km/s or less. Can I leave my electric scooter outside?
The best way to protect your electric scooter is to keep it in a dry, cool place away from weather conditions. Moisture and extreme weather can cause unnecessary damage to your model, and therefore it is best to keep it in a temperature-controlled environment. Avoid leaving your electric scooter outside or exposed to cold temperatures as these can damage your model’s battery and internal functions as well as risk damage to the exterior.
Can I ride a scooter in the rain?
Some electric scooter models can be used in light rain and damp conditions. It is not recommended to expose your electric model to the rain, and it is best to wait until the weather clears to get back on the roads. As it is a model with electric components, it is not conducive to wet weather conditions. Check the water-resistance rating of your scooter to make sure that it can be exposed to light rain, and if in doubt choose not to use your electric scooter in the rain.
