Why was the rebate scheme created?

The Queensland Government eMobility Rebate Scheme has been created as a part of Queensland’s Zero Emission Vehicle Strategy.

How much has been invested?

The state government has committed $2 million towards the development strategy. 

What is the rebate?

Residents will enjoy rebates to decrease the upfront price of a new eligible e-mobility device during this time. Rebate values are below:

$500 per eligible eBike 

$200 per eligible eScooter 

If the model is below $500 inclusive of GST for an eBike or below $200 for an eScooter, the rebate will be valued at the cost of the device. Applicants can only receive one rebate and up to three individuals from a household can apply.

• Be 18 or over

• Be a Queensland resident
